General conditions of Sale

Olinda, with legal and administrative headquarters Via Serra 72 San Marcello, 60030 AN – Italy P.Iva 02147830422, makes available to all users the possibility to purchase extra virgin olive oil (below “product”) through the website www.lolinda.it (below “site”).


General notes

The Customer (below “Customer”) is invited to accept and keep these General Conditions according to the preferred methods.

In case of changes to the General Conditions, to the purchase order, as specified in the following articles 3 and 4 of these General Conditions (below “Purchase Order”) the General Conditions published on the Site at the time the Customer sends the Order will apply.


Offer to the public

The products and relative prices presented on the site constitute an offer to the public in accordance with the procedures specified in the General Conditions and on the site itself. The conditions of this offer only apply to purchases made on the site.


Product prices

The price shown on the site at the time the order is sent is applied to the products, without any consideration of previous offers or any price changes made subsequently.

Delivery costs are adequately highlighted in the purchase order.


Purchase order

Purchase orders must be made online through the order procedure on the site.

In order to proceed with the compilation of the purchase order, the customer may alternatively follow the following methods:

  • In the event that the customer is already registered on the site (below “Site User”), it will be sufficient to enter your login credentials (username and password).
  • In the event that the Customer is not a Site User, it will be sufficient to enter the required data in the appropriate form, necessary to make the purchase.

The customer correctly completes the order procedure if the site does not show any error message (the system cannot detect errors in reference to the data entered by the customer in the field dedicated to the addresses for billing and shipping).

The Purchase Agreement will be considered concluded upon receipt of the order by L’Olinda. In this case, L’Olinda will acknowledge receipt of the order by sending an order confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address communicated by the customer.

This confirmation will summarize the selected products, their prices (including any delivery costs), the delivery address, the order number.

At the same time as the communication of the order confirmation, the amount corresponding to the products purchased will be charged to the customer in case of payment by credit card, bank transfer or PayPal system

The order number, generated by the system and communicated by L’Olinda, must be used by the customer in all communications with L’Olinda.

Occasional non-availability of the products offered may occur, in which case, if the products chosen by the customer are not, in whole or in part, available, L’Olinda will communicate this to the customer trying to satisfy the request as quickly as possible.


Payment and billing methods

Payment can be made by following the instructions on the site itself.

L’Olinda will issue an accompanying invoice which will be sent by email together with the shipment of the goods, to the email address provided by the customer.


Delivery method and related costs

The delivery of the material, which will take place by courier service, is subject to the successful completion of the payment.

Shipping terms must be considered indicative and not essential.

Stocks: usually if the recipient or his representative is absent at the passage of the courier service, a notice is left and subsequently agreed by telephone at the address left during the online order entry phase, a second delivery appointment. If this action also fails, the material could be taken over by the courier until the customer picks it up. In that circumstance, it will be the customer’s responsibility to contact the courier service indicated on the non-delivery receipt and organize the collection of the goods independently.

Legal guarantee

Each customer can exercise the right of withdrawal. Our return policy is available in the dedicated Return Policies section.

For any controversy inherent, dependent or connected to a contract governed by these general conditions of sale, even in the event of continuity or connection of causes, the jurisdiction is reserved exclusively to the Court of Ancona.
